Delete your myDxHub account

Last updated October 2026

myDxHub, on the web and in the myDxHub app for iPhone and Android, is run by My Dx Hub Inc. You can close your account yourself at any time, and your records are removed 30 days after you ask. Until then you can change your mind.

In the myDxHub app

  1. Open the app and sign in.
  2. Go to the Account tab.
  3. Choose Closing your account, then Close my account.
  4. Read what happens, add a reason if you like (you don’t have to), and choose Remove my records in 30 days.

On the website

  1. Sign in at www.mydxhub.com.
  2. Open the account menu at the top right, with your name, and choose Settings.
  3. Under Closing your account, choose Close my account and confirm.

Download a copy first if you want to keep one: Privacy & Access, then Download my records. You can do that any time before your records are removed.

If you can’t sign in

Try Forgot password? on the sign-in screen first; it emails you a code. If that doesn’t work, email support@mydxhub.com from the email address on your account and ask us to close it. We confirm it is you before we act, and the same 30 days apply from the day we confirm.

What happens next

Nothing is removed today. We will delete your results, reports, imaging and documents in 30 days, and you can stop it at any point before then.

To stop it, sign in and choose Keep my account in the same place, in the app or on the website. When the 30 days are up, your records are deleted and your account closes. If you also look after a child’s record or work at a practice on myDxHub, your sign-in stays for that; only your own record is removed.

What is removed

Everything in your own record, from myDxHub and its storage:

  • your lab results and their values, and the reports made from them;
  • your images and documents, including everything you added yourself;
  • your test kits, treatment history, perio charts and vision prescriptions;
  • your connections to health systems, and the records they brought in;
  • who you gave access to, and every share link you made;
  • your profile, and your sign-in.

What is kept, and for how long

  • The log of who opened your record and the record of changes made to it, for six years. Health privacy law gives you the right to that history and requires it to be kept, whether or not the record still exists.
  • Orders and payments, if you bought anything, with your name removed from them. Financial records have their own retention rules.
  • Database backups, for a short time. We keep backups so a failure can be recovered from. When your account closes, every earlier version of your files is destroyed with the files themselves; the database’s backups roll over within 7 days. (A single file you remove while your account stays open keeps an earlier version for 90 days, so a mistake can be undone.)
  • Copies a clinician already has. Anything a provider opened or downloaded while you allowed it is theirs to keep under their own obligations, and your practice keeps the records it created in its own systems. Requests about those go to them.

Removing only part of your information

You can stop any provider’s access and turn off any share link yourself, under Privacy & Access. To have particular records removed without closing your account, email support@mydxhub.com from the address on your account and tell us what you want removed. See also your patient rights.
